Questions about copyright?
All files uploaded into eClass must be compliant with Canadian copyright laws. You will need to confirm their copyright status by identifying the basis on which the file can be posted to eClass. You can do this by selecting from a range of drop down options (e.g. permission was obtained from the copyright holder, York University Libraries’ licensed content, public domain, fair dealing, etc). For information on all options available to you visit copyright information page.
Additional information on copying practices at York University can be found on the York Copyright website.
