Completing and submitting an assignment
Below is a brief list of things you can do to prepare yourself for uploading an assignment via Crowdmark. A complete list of available help is located at the Crowdmark help repository.

Preparing your work for submission
- Make sure your work is easy to read and grade
- Optimize your scanner’s settings
- Make your images smaller
- Convert iPhone/iPad photos (HEIC format) to JPEG on Mac

Late submission penalties
- Students can submit and resubmit their assessments anytime before the due date. After the due date, their submissions are locked in. Late submissions cannot be edited
- IIf a student attempts to submit an assessment late, a modal window will appear with the due date and penalty that will be applied.

- Write your answer on paper, in Word, Google Docs, or a note-taking app
- Save, scan or photograph your responses
- Upload your files
- Once all the pages have been uploaded, click Done to upload them to the assessment
- If you need to rotate a page, click the magnifying glass icon on the page, then click the Rotate page button

What do I do if I see the error message below while trying to access an assessment on Crowdmark via eClass?
If you see the error message above, please ensure that your email address on eClass matches your email address registered on Crowdmark. For help with changing the email on eClass, check out this article. If you have multiple emails in Crowdmark, make sure your currently selected one matches the one in eClass.
