Introduction
The Virtual Background option is not showing on the Meeting settings on Zoom Client Application.
Please see potential reasons below:
Your computer may be too old
Please ensure your computer specifications meet the minimum requirements to use virtual backgrounds. Please see minimum requirements for Virtual Backgrounds on the link below:

Your computer's operating system may be out-of-date
Please ensure your Operating System meets the minimum requirements to use virtual backgrounds. Please see minimum requirements for Virtual Backgrounds on the link below:

Please ensure that you keep your Operating System up-to-date. Please see the links below for instructions on how to update your Operating System:

Other potential reasons
Virtual Backgrounds may not be enabled in your settings - Please follow the instructions below in order to enable Virtual Backgrounds in your Zoom Settings:
- Visit mms.yorku.ca
- Click Sign In near the top right corner of the page
- If not already signed in, pleas sign in using your Passport York credentials (Username and Password)
- Click Settings on the left side of the page
- Search the page or scroll down to Virtual Background and ensure that it is switched on.
